Appearance: Of an average height, Ryo is a chestnut-blonde with bits of red in his hair. He keeps it short at almost all points, and it's never been much beyond the end of his neck. With black eyes, sometimes people realize he has oriental blood in him, although this is most noteable when he smiles or gets confused, as his eyes seem to squint. He looks extremely thin, mostly as he seems to wear sweaters and bigger clothes, but his form is actually quite well-defined if one looks underneath. (Some images have him with green eyes, but it is canonly stated that they're pitch black)

Ryo tends to wear loose clothing typically, T-shirts or sweaters, and coats due to his location in New York, meaning he tends to dress for the weather. When more casual, sometimes he'll wear shorter-sleeved shirts, some in fashion, most not. Wears horrible shoes if he isn't wearing tennis shoes, and always wears Pajamas to bed.

Personality: Ryo has a fairly laid-back sort of personality most of the time. He is rather quiet and unintimidating, but very amicable once one begins speaking to him. He tends to 'turn the other cheek' when people get on his nerves, and thus is hardly ever in trouble. However, when pushed, he has been known to randomly smack people, and he can become very loud.

Always one for following rules and protocol, he is extremely perceptive of the things and people around him, unless those people somehow relate to him, in which case he tends to not notice much. And although seemingly open, he is actually very quiet about his past, preferring to tell only pieces, if any at all, and usually only to those who he feels comfortable with or is trying to comfort.

Generally, Ryo is extremely contemplative and thoughtful, very rarely doing anything without having thought it through, but like any person, he has his moments and faults. He has a good eye for details.

Ryo is also known, on occasion, to completely and utterly space out. Usually this occurs when he has too much on his mind, and most the time he is easily scared. It seems an almost direct counter to his usually aware self, and is definitely a quirk.
